Many Curly Hair Types!!
I was amazed at how much I did not know about the different styles of hair. But I had no idea there were 4A through 4C. I even saw that there was a 3C type. When I think back to my sister’s daughter’s hair, I realize there are several hair types that I never paid that close attention to. Over the years, I have heard of tender headed when it was a difficult time combing a youngster’s hair. So many hated to get their hair combed. But with time, they do grow out of it. The more they managed their different hair types, it became easier.
I read that 3C curls are like tight corkscrews in shape. They range in shape from a straw to a pencil!! The strands are densely packed together. This will give a lot of natural volume to your hair.
As I did some research, I saw the three main types. They are wavy, straight, and curly.
My hair, when wet, is type curly with straight strands throughout. When I dry my hair and lay down on it, my body heat will straighten that area. Sometimes, when drying my hair some strands are straight as well.
There are many textures and densities of the curly hair. Some have different retention of moisture when washing curly hair. Some coils are tight, and some can be loose.

DIFFERENT CURLY HAIR TYPES.

The 4A Hair Type of Curl:
When it comes to the 4A type of curly hair, you will see a S-shaped curl pattern with spirals, which has a fine or wiry texture. This type tends to break easily because of the low layers of the cuticle.

The 4B Hair Type of Curl
The 4B hair type of curl is a tightly coiled a Z-shaped pattern. These hair strands are tightly coiled. Some are densely hair strands that look like a curve form to its bending sharp. The fine or coarse curl pattern is drier and breaks easily. It may appear shorter but the length is longer because the curls are tighter when wet.
Heat deep conditioning is great for the curly hair type. The heat will lift the cuticles. It will absorb moisture when you use a leave-in conditioner that is water-based. Good ingredients to look for would be honey, aloe vera, panthenol, and Ceteary alcohol. An oil based cream will seal and moisture your strands. Gels that are plant-based such as flaxseeds, aloe vera, okra, and ginger helps stops breakage.
The 4C hair type
The 4C curly hair type is a tightly coil. And it will be tighter then the 4B curly hair type.. It will shrink when wet and no noticeable pattern like the other types. The 4C has tightly packed strands. You will need a lot of care for they type because it hard to prevent damage to the strands.
The 3C Hair Type of Curl
As I stated earlier the 3C are tight curls in the shape similar to a corkscrew. This hair type can range in shape of a pencil to the shape of a straw!! That is because the strands are densely packed together. You will have a lot of natural volume to your curly hair type.
WASH DAY KIT IS GREAT FOR CURLY HAIR
Great tools to help with your wash day routine. You will find a moisturizing spray bottle. Fill this to spray you hair with your favorite moisturizer.
