Our teachers are dedicated to our mission here at Brainfood Academy. That mission stating: We strive to Teach and educate our students. They will not be indoctrinated to one idea or belief. With that being said, finding the right teachers for our platform was not easy. However, with patience and asking the right questions, we feel we have succeeded. As we launch our school, more teachers will be onboarded with the same core values to educate and not indoctrinate.

Explore The Philosophy of Music With Mr. Cantu
I am Mr. Cantu and I am here to show the world of music. Music theory will show you where you can find music is everyday life. Music is all around you if you know where to look. And how to recognize it. Music theory is just the beginning of all that music encompasses.
My goal here at Brainfood Academy is to educate students and create engaging lessons in music. The main focus will be to instruct students on how to read musical chords. I also will have a separate class for instruction in playing the guitar. By using my experience and knowledge in music, the student will be able to become skillfully proficient in the art of music.
As the creator and founder of Mariachi bands as a grade and credit in the State of Texas with my colleagues, I hope to show the love of music to my students of all ages.

My name is Mrs. Jay Fish. I gesticulate with my hands! I enjoy teaching and learning new things. Despite the fact that I require special assistance to breathe, I want my pupils to know they are unique as well. Especially, I want to demonstrate to my kids that learning is possible in all areas through interactive teaching methods and sign language. Cassandra Mmabatho Hawkins, a retired schoolteacher and businesswoman, has always found great meaning in the words of Fredrick Douglas: “It is easier to build strong children than repair broken adults.” P.O.W.E.R. (Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized) named Dr. Cassandra Hawkins a VIP member in 2020 after she completed 11 years of missionary service and more than 29 years of teaching language arts. Her degrees in Speech, Theatre, and Communications enable kids to express themselves and spark their imaginations for solving problems. Dr. of Ministry Cassandra Mmabatho Hawkins loves to share biblical tales with kids that foster moral growth and character development. Despite all else she does, her passion is in directing musicals and stage plays that educate kids, teenagers, and young adults about making the right decisions.

Greetings, this is Francine. Today, I will acquaint you with the realm of physics. As a professional astronomy instructor, I work in several planetariums and instruct students of all ages. I want to demonstrate to you that science is a part of everything you do and not simply something you do in a “class.” Come explore the realm of applied science with open eyes.
I wish to challenge and educate you about the fields of physics and astronomy in my capacity as an instructor and curator of astronomy at Brown University. The foundation of the world is math. Permit me to explain the composition of our cosmos.

Mr. Janecek contends that we must understand our history. How come? to comprehend the state of affairs now. Therefore, we are able to plan for the future. Especially, despite what the general public believes, history cannot be disputed. What is, is, what is. It took place. We are powerless to alter or refute it. But we can talk about it. We should draw lessons from it and educate ourselves on the failures and successes of the past.

Mr. Janecek will have open discussions with our pupils while teaching them about both historical and contemporary topics. spanning the Renaissance to the present. Therefore, he will guide our kids in the process of developing their own voices by presenting facts rather than views. Our kid will become a better person by learning to reason from facts and think independently. They will also have a significant impact on our dynamic planet.
Ms Wendy Naruse and Felix – Learn and Grow
Hi to all of you. Ms. Wendy Naruse is my name. At Brainfood Academy, Felix and I will lead you on an educational journey this year. I worked with elementary school kids since 2017 and completed my special education teacher training at the University of Hawaii from 2018 to 2020. I also have three years of experience tutoring elementary school students in language arts and basic arithmetic, as well as three years of experience teaching conversational Cantonese to young learners. There after, gain three years of experience as a teacher with the Zoom online platform. Fun facts about myself.
I have four dogs and a cat, and I’m married. loves to play with my dogs, cook, and do karaoke. My home is in Hawaii. That being said, in order to motivate my kids to learn, I try to include engaging activities in the classroom. Sushi is my favorite food. My favorite hue is green. I will be teaching first-grade arithmetic at Brainfood Academy, assisted by my stuffed animal companion Felix. This year’s major subjects that will be discussed are: Sense of numbers and their operations (adding, subtracting, counting, etc.) 2. Measuring and organizing data (objects, graphs, and charts) 3. Geometry: Two- and three-dimensional forms 4. Patterns and Relationships (with reference to objects, numbers, forms, etc.)
Teachers at Brainfood Academy: Ms. Starling
I have a degree in elementary education and a minor in science from the University of Florida. My experience comes primarily from working as a specialist elementary school math and reading teacher. I adore being able to inspire a love of reading and math in my kids! I’ll be teaching reading and arithmetic to first graders. Reading topics I will be covering! Also, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, phonological awareness, phonics, reading comprehension, fluency, and handwriting, will be covered. However, we will study the following topics in math: measurement and data, geometry, counting and cardinality, operations and algebraic thinking, and numbers and operations in base ten. I’m going to be a math teacher in fourth grade. Mathematical Reasoning and Problem Solving, Numbers and Operations in Base Ten, Operations & Algebraic Thinking, Numbers and Operations—Fractions and Decimals, Measurement and Data, and Geometry are a few of those abilities. I’m excited to work with your student in the future!
Unique, Ms Tulini: Teachers at Brainfood Academy
I teach both general education and special education. having worked as a special education teacher for grades 1 and 2. In addition, I instruct the school’s middle school students in grades 4 and 5. As a Supplemental Teacher for 9th and 10th grade, I helped individuals who needed more support. Consequentially, I conducted online classes using Google Classroom breakout rooms during the pandemic. Once I left a school for low-income families in June 2022. I like teaching students of all grade levels. My role at Brainfood Academy is to teach Social Studies and Language Arts to students in grades 1 through 5. In addition, I’ll be teaching science and SS in grades 3 and 4. If necessary, I will also be teaching math to students in grades 1-4.
